Don't throw away your 1st gen Mi Band, give it to Pokemon Go trainer instead!

Adventure Sync already started months ago, it allows Pokemon Go trainer to sync their steps into Pokemon Go when the game isn’t launched. But u need to walk or run with your phone to let Google Fit to track your steps.

Today I decided to walk with ONLY wearing my 1st generation Mi Band, without bringing out my phone outdoor, to test whether the steps recorded by Mi Band able to sync into Pokemon Go.

After back from the walk, I first open up Mi Fit app to check my steps and activity to make sure my walking is synced from my Mi Band to Mi Fit.

After that I open Google Fit to ensure the Mi Fit data already transfer across to Google Fit.

Only after all the above steps, I start my Pokemon Go.

Well done! The walk with my Mi Band is successfully sync into Pokemon Go.

To ensure the sync is done properly, remember to add your Google Fit account into your Mi Fit app, after that check the Google Fit settings to ensure it show inside the connected apps.

As the date I'm writing this, Xiaomi already come out with Mi Band 3. So if you are upgraded from the previous 1st or 2nd generations Mi Band, where did you put your old Mi Bands? Why not just give it to any Pokemon Go trainer. So that they can go out and jog without bringing their phone together. Cheers~

YES, you are not reading by mistake, there will be a showcase of Pokemon Go in Xiamen, China during the Japan Media Arts Festival

Venue: 闽南大戏院 Xiamen Banlam Grand Theater

From the source http://mediaarts-xiamen.com/cn/ it say that there will be a showcase on Pokemon Go during the Japan Media Arts Festival 2018 with the theme "CHARACTER". It will let the visitors to experience catching Pokemon on the screen using Pokeball. But it didn't mention about there will be a real spawn at the event venue or just some demo on the event provided screen.

The Community Day start off with some glitch and error so it extended for another 3 hours. So we have almost 6 hours to stock up some Dratini and evolve some into Dragonite to get the special move "Draco Meteor"
